This project enhances field operations through effective deployment of geospatial data. To do so, I architected and built a multitenant REST API to support an AR mobile app and administrative tools. - Developed integration methods for bulk asset imports and linking to external resources like ArcGIS maps. - Guided a team of developers, conducting code reviews and fostering a collaborative working environment. - Delivering clear, decisive communication to clients concerning technical tradeoffs, enabling informed decision-making aligned with their business objectives.
This mobile AR solution allows seamless visualization of geolocated assets in the real world. To meet the demands of the infrastructure sector, I focused on enhancing the localization features of the app for accurate AR asset placement, implementing both VPS (Visual Positioning Systems) and GPS. In addition to architecture and development, I was involved with the App Store submission process and project management. This project involves the development of an API designed to assist a legal nonprofit organization in efficiently managing incoming case reports submitted through their website. The API uses AI to streamline the initial evaluation process, processing submitted reports using OpenAI's GPT-4 model. The API, built using FastAPI and SQLAlchemy, exposes endpoints that allow retrieval of AI-generated assessment, as well as original case details and metadata. This helped the volunteer legal team quickly grasp the essence of each case, prioritize their efforts, and take the appropriate next steps.
This project was created to help a nonprofit organization collect audio and video 'testimonials' from program participants. Nonprofit staff could review the submissions and curate them to demonstrate the effectiveness of their programming. Using Django (Python) and React, I designed a system to collect and manage audio/video submissions. I led the development team, providing technical support, tool selection, and project management. I designed custom widgets (rating, media preview, download) for the Django admin page, allowing fast deployment of a management flow for the nonprofit staff.
The primary objective was to create an immersive, web-based 360/VR tour enabling prospective families to virtually experience the school's educational environment at a time when in-person visits were not feasible.
