AWS Deployment automation using Terraform. Client deployment included following components: 1. API Gateway 2. Lambdas 3. Firehose Kinesis 4. CloudFront 5. CloudWatch 6. Cloudformation Templates
Client Requirements: * Client needed a heavy image processing to be done on a huge set of images on demand without having to reserve huge set of resources on the cloud. * Client also needed parallel and separate processes to have scalable implementation for concurrent conversion requests. * One of the requirements was to use resources on the go and pay only for the resources consumed Solution Implemented: * Created a docker image for the image processing solution and hosted on ECR * Lambda created to store the incoming images files hosted on s3 to run image processing on * Lambda push the data on SQS Queue which is accessed in the docker container to pull the data from S3 * Created API Gateway to trigger lambda which triggers the ECS to start the conversion * VPC created to include all endpoints involved in the solution to prevent data transfers over internet, speeding all the resources access
Client had a SOAP API based backend. He needed a REST interface created for the same that can scale quickly as per the real time traffic. Created Django based project running in the container. AWS deployment with the policies to scale up the docker containers real time.
