Complex custom widgets
The client asked for a couple of original widgets that had unique interactions and complex animations. Both the counter and the range picker are fully customizable and ready to be reused on any app.
Tiki Dating App
Tiki was a particularly challenging app because it required many custom elements and animations. As you can see in the picture, things like the dialer-style app bar and the white reminder the follow your finger was done from scratch. It required API integration and Firebase OTP authentication. The chat feature was done with Firebase firestore.
Chips of Fury Improvement
The client's initial goal was to improve the UI and add features to the app like enforce a turn order. After two months of work, we were able to increase the number of active users by more than 45%. The ongoing effort now is to implement a poker mode.
Book reading app
The initial goal was to develop a user logging interface. We ended up also developing a library of books with a compelling UI.
FunHub video app
Funhub groups the most viral videos and images of the moment. The most challenging problem that I faced was the video's resource management. As it turns out, Flutter still doesn't take care of disposing of the videos that are not on-screen automatically, so I had to load future videos as the user came close to them so he wouldn't see loading screens and dispose videos that were going away so out of memory errors could be avoided. The app uses Firebase authentication and firestore to store favorite videos. It also has support for subscriptions.
