Multi-Criteria Analysis (MCA) will be employed to integrate spatial and temporal data, including land use, rainfall, slope, and drainage patterns, to assess flood-prone areas. The results will support urban planning, disaster mitigation, and policy-making by providing a detailed understanding of flood dynamics and risk zones in the region.

Monitoring Land Change and Temperature Using Sentinel-2A Imagery

This project aims to monitor land changes and identify their relationship with variations in surface temperature (LST) in an area around Mount Merapi. Using Sentinel-2A and Landsat 8 satellite imagery, this analysis will explore patterns of land change, such as land conversion from vegetation to non-productive areas, and how these changes affect surface temperatures temporally.

Making Administrative Maps Using Digitization from PDF file

I digitized maps from a pdf map file in several districts and I made maps for some areas. Digitization was done for boundaries, river areas, roads, residential areas, and other information. My work took 1 week including map preparation and presentation of the results.

Area contour analysis using satellite imagery

Contour and topography analysis using satellite data involves the use of high-resolution satellite imagery to create detailed Digital Elevation Models (DEMs) that illustrate terrain variations. This method allows for efficient mapping of large and remote areas, providing accurate elevation information crucial for land-use planning, erosion studies, and disaster management. By integrating these DEMs with Geographic Information Systems (GIS), analysts can visualize and analyze terrain features to support various environmental and development applications.

Land Suitability Analysis of Residential Area in Mamuju-Indonesia

The project aims to evaluate and identify the most appropriate locations for residential development within the Mamuju region. By leveraging advanced GIS techniques and spatial analysis, this project assesses various factors such as topography, soil stability, accessibility, infrastructure availability, and environmental constraints. The objective is to create a comprehensive suitability map that guides urban planners and developers in making informed decisions, ensuring sustainable and strategic growth in Mamuju while minimizing environmental impact and optimizing land use efficiency.
