I co-authored a paper titled "Understanding University Instructors’ Cumulative User Experience with a Learning Management System: A Semester-Long Mixed Methods Study," published through AHFE Open Access – Accelerating Open Access Science in Human Factors Engineering and Human-Centered Computing. This research was presented at an international conference, with expenses covered by my thesis advisers. The study involved both qualitative and quantitative methods to explore the evolving user experience of university instructors throughout a semester.
Developed a personal portfolio website using Google Sites to showcase selected freelance, academic, and research projects. The site features a personalized logo, embedded video presentations, and is freely accessible online.
(This is not my work, just a template for reference.) This Google Sheet progress tracker is shared during the project for monitoring. Viewing access is given during the project, and editing access is provided after the project or milestone is completed.
This project is my output for the Fundamentals of UX class at Osaka University, covering UX design principles, research methodologies, and problem-solving for communities. Through user interviews, I identified toxic behaviors as a key issue in online fan communities and created two user personas based on these insights. To address this, I proposed a customizable in-app pop-up reminder (low-fidelity prototype) for admins to display community rules. The output includes initial findings, a storyboard, user and peer feedback with a SWOT analysis, UX improvements, testing plans, and key takeaways.
This is the final output for my Collaborative and Participatory Design class at Osaka University, where the approach emphasizes involving all stakeholders to ensure the design meets their needs. I proposed prioritizing mental health prevention by enhancing communal areas in schools. These open spaces are designed to provide students with opportunities to relax and socialize, fostering well-being and reducing mental health challenges. Formatted using PowerPoint, the output includes initial findings, feedback from my classmates, proposed testing activities, and learnings from the class.
