Experience Highlights

Emmy nominated with RedBull and EyecandyLab

With EyecandyLab I've worked on several projects, e.g. for Deutsche Telekom, O2, Sky and Verizon. But the biggest success was probably a project we did for RedBull. It was called "Last Ascent AR" and was an experience where you could follow the expedition to Mount Kilimanjaro on a visionary approach to the future of storytelling, in which you've connected your Smart TV with an AR smartphone. Full details in the project URL. The project was nominated for an Emmy, featured on the Google IO as well as on the Unity Blog, which is like a dream for most of developers. I've worked there as part of a pretty small team and was responsible for different aspects of the app like e.g. content creation, testing and bug fixing.

Auto-Adaptive Tool and Content

SyncReality is a very cool and innovative tool, which allows you to transform your physical environment into a VR world (hard to describe, but easy to understand when you watch the trailer). I've worked there as Lead Developer for content creation for the tool (e.g. made an Escape Room and a Tower Defense game), as well as part of the development team of the tool itself. During smaller projects to showcase the tools capabilities, I also made several experiences on the Snapdragon Spaces and the Quest 2 for e.g. Gerry Weber (a fashion show) and Telekom (a virtual shopping experience).

VR Jam 2023

The topic of VR Jam 2023 was "special delivery". So within 1 week, i developed the game "Order Up", which is a kind of Point-and-Click or Escape Room game. You have only a certain time to order your food, but to be able to do, you need to walk around and investigate your environment and look for hints and similar. It runs on the Quest 2 and special about is, that it could be played completely without controllers, only with hand-tracking. In the end it made the 9th place overall.

CheckARs - Checkers in AR

In this game, you can play checkers in augmented reality in local multiplayer duels. Every user has it's individual perspective on the gamefield. This is based on our self developed technology

Advent of Code 2022

Advent of Code is a daily coding challenge, where you get one quiz per day. It runs each year from 1st december till christmas. After taking part "usually" a few times before, in 2022 i decided to create a little visualization for every day. Solving the daily challenge as well as creating the visualization were done in Unity and always within the same day when the challenge came out. Check out the Project URL for the full playlist.
