I have worked as a backend developer in this project. This project is basically provides education for unpreviledged people of South Africa.It is developed using python, Django, Django Rest Framework and PostgreSQL database. I have worked on mutiple mudule like User and Instructor. Features that I implemented like custom authentication methods beyond the default Django authentication system, such as token-based authentication using JWT (JSON Web Tokens) or OAuth2. Designing and developing RESTful APIs using Django Rest Framework (DRF), including defining endpoints, request/response serialization, authentication, permissions, and versioning.Optimizing database queries for complex operations, including filtering, sorting, pagination, and aggregation, to improve performance and scalability.Integrating and managing task queues and background job processing systems like Celery and Redis to handle asynchronous tasks, periodic tasks, and long-running processes. Integration with Third-Party APIs like Simplilearn and Coursera with external APIs and services, handling authentication, request/response processing, error handling, and data synchronization.
