This was a complete rebuild of the companies client database and application for managing all aspects of their business interactions with clients and billing. This application gathered all data necessary to dispatch trucks to pick up goods (up to 2 locations, limited per client request), where to drop the goods at( again up to 2 locations), as well as generating billing forms and reports with electronic billing option available. Whenever working with a recurrent customer data was fetched via a search field or client number and all customer data was auto populated across all forms to expedite the process. New / Existing customers and consignees were able to be dynamically added/updated with out the need for post-back and all page data was updated to the new data. Additionally the optional sections of the forms are collapsible (closed by default) and appear with a simple click on the desired heading. The predecessor was written in delphi and was limited to 1 user at a time. It could only be used if you were onsite and physically at the the installed computer. The application I wrote is multi-user capable and can be accessed anywhere with a web browser and the proper connection. The new database was constructed with MS SQL Server 2012 and the application was written using ASP.NET, C#, Web Services, Ajax, CSS2, JavaScript, XHTML, ADO.NET.
