Implemented an observability solution using OpenTelemetry and Jaeger for a client’s distributed system. The main goal of this initiative was to design and implement an AWS infrastructure capable of facilitating the automated extraction, comparison, and validation of invoice data. Client's Goal: The client aimed to establish a streamlined deployment process leveraging GitOps methodology. Their objective was to automate the deployment of applications from GitHub repositories to their Kubernetes cluster efficiently and securely. My Contribution: I spearheaded the implementation of ArgoCD as the designated GitOps tool for managing the deployment workflow. This involved configuring ArgoCD to synchronize with the client's GitHub repositories, setting up automated deployment pipelines, and ensuring seamless integration with their Kubernetes cluster. Additionally, I provided comprehensive documentation and conducted knowledge transfer sessions to empower the client's team in managing and maintaining the deployed applications independently. Project Success Summary: By successfully implementing ArgoCD as the GitOps tool, we achieved remarkable results for the client. The deployment process became significantly more streamlined, with updates to applications automatically triggered upon changes in the corresponding GitHub repositories. This not only reduced manual intervention but also enhanced the overall deployment reliability and consistency. Furthermore, the client's team gained valuable insights into GitOps practices, empowering them to embrace efficient DevOps workflows for future projects.

My Contribution: Leveraging my expertise in Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, and Helm, I spearheaded the successful implementation of the monitoring solution. I collaborated closely with the client to understand their specific requirements and design custom dashboards tailored to their monitoring needs. Additionally, I configured Prometheus alerting rules to detect anomalies and trigger timely notifications, and optimized the solution for scalability and performance. My contributions played a pivotal role in delivering a solution that met the client's objectives effectively.
