My client wanted add a test process in web development project. Firstly, I've started from manual cross browser testing against desktop and mobile browsers before first release. Secondly, I automated a testing of most often scenarios and set up test execution in Docker in remote server. Setted up CI with TeamCity. Next I had been adding a new test scenarios, support current ones and so on. As well as I prepared a docker container in order to run tests against mobile browser. Whole time the client was satisfied my job and contract was finished just because a work style was changed to offline mode.
My client wanted to make a instrumental tests on a Firebase test lab and an Amazon device farm. I've automated a test script with Java+Appium for Amazon and with Java+Espresso for Firebase. Next there was an issue in test execution on Firebase test lab, so I looked for a solution with Firebase support team. Also client asked me to prepare a test script for performance testing with Jmeter, that was done.
My client wanted to implement a list of test cases. All done. Also were solved a few issues, like migrate from TestNG to JUnit, run test cases in a different browsers( Firefox, Chrome). Finally I offered to setup CI with Jenkins.
Ongoing project. My client wants that I run Sanity check daily production builds by performing upgrades and testing basic functionality. Targeted platforms are 64 bit Windows 7, 8.1, and 10 and 32 bit Windows 7. I have implemented Sanity checklist with .bat file, that allowed run test scripts faster and save client's money.
