In a recent project, I led the design, implementation, and management of a scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS) for a healthcare solutions provider. This involved leveraging a wide range of AWS services including EC2, EBS, S3, VPC, RDS, SES, ELB, EMR, ECS, EKS, CloudFront, CloudWatch, and more. I automated infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and CloudFormation templates, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost-effectiveness. I established Continuous Delivery pipelines using Docker, Maven, Chef, Jenkins, and AWS, facilitating seamless code deployment and updates across various environments. Additionally, I integrated container orchestration using Kubernetes and Spinnaker, deploying microservices and managing Kubernetes clusters efficiently with Terraform. I oversaw application deployments on web servers like Apache, Nginx, and Application Servers such as Tomcat and JBoss. Moreover, I configured Nexus repository manager for artifact management and implemented robust metrics and log forwarding to Splunk for comprehensive monitoring and analysis. Python scripting was extensively utilized for automation tasks and API integration with AWS services, enhancing infrastructure management and ensuring high availability and reliability of healthcare applications and services.
