UI & UX Programmer (Jan – Dec 2023) Overhauled menus/HUD; built Unity Addressables thumbnail pipeline (–30% load); migrated to Unity’s Input System; revamped creative tools and store UX. Lead Programmer (Dec 2023 – Feb 2025) Cut peak RAM by 60% with zero crashes; re‑engineered multiplayer sync and Undo/Redo with Unity Netcode and Steamworks; developed custom editor tools (–50% setup); rewrote network‑safe save for Steam Workshop; standardized Plastic SCM and Unity Cloud Build CI/CD.
Fleet Commander: Pacific is a grand strategic simulation of the naval war in the Pacific from 1941 to 1945 It has a single player and multiplayer mode and is developed for PC, macOS and Linux. You can play as the Allies or the Japanese Empire in a battle to capture as much sea territory and military bases as possible. To accomplish this, you make use of the naval forces at your disposal. I worked on this project for a whole year while working at Pixel Ratio (Mérida, Extremadura, Spain). My duties were to complete and upgrade the game systems that were already in place.
HPL: Nyarlathotep Rising is a narrative RPG inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft, where players embody three intertwined characters, uncover cult conspiracies, and confront the cosmic horror of Nyarlathotep in 1929. During development, I contributed in two key areas: - Gameplay Mechanics: Implemented core systems including UI/UX, animation integration, in-game windows, and settings. - Designer & Writer Tooling: Built custom tools to support story creation and branching decision-making, streamlining the narrative design workflow.
Epic Chef is a comedy-driven farming and cooking adventure where you grow your own farm, gather ingredients, befriend eccentric townsfolk, and prepare dishes to compete in over-the-top culinary battles. During development, I contributed across multiple areas, including UI/UX design, character controller implementation, performance optimizations, and close collaboration with artists to bring the game’s vision to life.
Wring & Smash is a tower-defense video-game for Android devices. The main objective is to stop the hordes of animals from attacking the radio tower. To achieve this, we will be able to build and upgrade different turrets that will shoot on sight, as well as setting up traps for the animals on the path they follow. This project was created with 3 other developers as a final degree project for university. I was involved in the creation of both the back-end and front-end of the video-game, implementing AI, UI, sound effects, and working on the core gameplay systems.
