The client needed an interactive questionnaire that adjusts dynamically based on a selected sector. The tool automates show/hide functionality across multiple worksheets, enables structured data exports, and integrates with Outlook for email automation. Additionally, the project required flexibility for future sector additions without requiring extensive macro modifications.
The client needed an efficient way to process product data extracted from Attribute Genie, ensuring that parent and variant attributes were correctly separated into dedicated sheets. Initially, the tool handled a single worksheet but later evolved to support multi-sheet integration, automatically consolidating shared and unique attributes.
My client wanted to modify and enhance the functionality of a customized microsoft excel add-in. My contribution was to create a new Excel Ribbon, organize previous tools and add new features on it by using VBA programming. That made the add-in looks more professional.
In this project, I developed a SolidWorks macro using VBA to automate the creation of 3D models based on parameters extracted from an Excel file. The macro reads dimensions from an Excel spreadsheet, generates a 3D solid block in SolidWorks, and then applies a cut feature to create a hole.
