Zulu5 contacted me because they wanted to answer a variety of questions around both their marketing website and the actual Zulu5 web application. To support their product development questions, I set up a tracking guide that was implemented in the web application by their development team. The tracking events capture the in-app usage and will support developing the product further. In addition to web app usage, many client attributes were also captured to support client retention. Once this was done and data was flowing to Google Analytics 4, Lucky Orange and other tools, we began to work on the redesign of the marketing website. A number of events are captured on it, for example using the domain search feature. Google Analytics 4 explorations and Looker Studio dashboards rounded up the picture.
Seahub approached me because their business closed most of their sales through phone calls, their call tracking solution CallRail however only tracked calls, not revenue generated by these calls. For Seahub, I created a custom web application running on Google Cloud (App Engine), written in Groovy and using Spring Boot, that stores call data from CallRail, AirCall and leads closed in HubSpot and tracks closed deals as Enhanced Ecommerce transactions to Google Analytics. With this application, the entire customer lifecycle is tracked in Google Analytics, from traffic acquisition, to call, to a closed deal.
For Valuae, a French company that buys diamonds through affiliated stores, I was setting up the tracking for Google Analytics, Facebook and Zoho. Since the business is offline-driven, leads are captured in Zoho, along with their campaign parameters. Closed deals are then tracked from Zoho to Google Analytics as Enhanced Ecommerce transactions. Abandoned deals are also tracked to keep track of traffic quality. This allows the client to see the return on ad spend of his online campaigns, expressed through verified offline transactions.
I was responsible for managing all tracking aspects for The Sandbox Game, a community-driven game where people can trade assets on a blockchain. Beyond creating and maintaining a great Google Analytics property for the entire game, I was working together with the Sandbox developers to introduce features such as Google Analytics user ID and Enhanced Ecommerce tracking for digital assets. Integrating various 3rd party ad networks, such as Reddit and Pinterest, rounded off the picture.
Rawa S.A.L. and I did an online coaching session in which we set up the tracking for their new ReactJS website in Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics. We used a mix of GTM events and events fired from ReactJS to set up a robust tracking solution. A coaching session like this is a good way to build up Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics knowledge within your company's team.
