Schedule Interview NowMy name is Karen P. and I have over 10 years of experience in the tech industry. I specialize in the following technologies: node.js, JavaScript, ASP.NET MVC, Web Development, .NET Framework, etc.. I hold a degree in Master of Science (MS), Bachelor of Engineering (BEng), Master of Business Administration (MBA), Bachelor of Science (BS). Some of the notable projects I’ve worked on include: Okta Educational Content for SaltoLabs, HPC Cloud Computing File Export System. I am based in Glastonbury, United States. I've successfully completed 2 projects while developing at Softaims.
My expertise lies in deeply understanding and optimizing solution performance. I have a proven ability to profile systems, analyze data access methods, and implement caching strategies that dramatically reduce latency and improve responsiveness under load. I turn slow systems into high-speed performers.
I focus on writing highly efficient, clean, and well-documented code that minimizes resource consumption without sacrificing functionality. This dedication to efficiency is how I contribute measurable value to Softaims’ clients by reducing infrastructure costs and improving user satisfaction.
I approach every project with a critical eye for potential bottlenecks, proactively designing systems that are efficient from the ground up. I am committed to delivering software that sets the standard for speed and reliability.

Create educational content for the Okta Identity and Access Management community - this includes developers, administrators, or executives looking to evaluate the value Okta can provide to their organizations. Three articles have been published in the SaltoLabs Learning Center at https://www.salto.io/applications/okta with great reception by the community.
Client Goals: to build a system that allowed the zipping of 50k+ files reliably and quickly in 6-8 weeks. Responsible for the architecture, design, implementation and and documentation of the export system. - Create and Execute immediate or scheduled Jobs in Microsoft Azure's Big Compute (HPC) offering of Batch. Azure Scheduler was used to schedule. - Each Job was responsible to read and zip very large number and sizes of file stored in AWS S3, carried out through an Export Engine and it's .NET Core API. - The database to support this system was designed and a Data Access layer was created using Entity Framework. - Performance bench-mark of export from both AWS Storage and Azure Blob Storage. Architecture, design and documentation of the above system. Successful Outcome: the project was a success. Users are now able to schedule and execute on demand runs of tens of thousands of files.
