I created my own mini studio 8 years ago, it generated more than 60 thousand dollars and 3 million downloads. I have knowledge of all the areas involved in the development of a videogame. Our forte is rhythm games but I did everything here.
Simulation of a spacecraft takeoff in Game Maker Studio 2. Not only I focused on the logic and mechanics of the takeoff, but I also incorporated custom designs and animations to improve the user experience and get a satisfied customer. I added some particles for realism, designed the behavior of gravitational orbits, the worlds suck you in, the ship picks up momentum, has drag and a fairly realistic tumbling feel. Challenging project in terms of physics, but the desired goal could be achieved.
I worked on a mobile app that is basically an interactive database of skateboarding tricks. Although the client only asked for basic functionality. I took the liberty to add design and UX elements such as animations and a touch interface. I implemented a real-time search system and a progression system that unlocks new tricks as users progress. Everything was built from scratch in Game Maker Studio 2, with modularity in mind for future expansions.
