To implement and configure Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop as the VDI tool for the organisation to work from. Implement Citrix Netscaler to allow users to remotely connect to the environment from their company devices. Implement RSA authentication for Multi-factor authentication for logging in. Implement Citrix WEM to manage environment settings. Impelement FSLogix as the profile container so that user documents and data are stored and retained no matter what machine they log onto. Configure Citrix Golden Image for shared desktop users.
To setup and configure the initial networking between the organisation's on-premises environment and Microsoft Azure following Azure Landing Zone concepts. Direct connectivity to various Azure resources was required from devices on the organisations on-premises network over a Site-to-Site VPN using Private Endpoint on the Azure side. A VPN was configured on the on-premises Palo Alto firewall to connect to the Azure Virtual Nework Gateway. The gateway lived in a Hub virtual network with other spoke virtual networks connecting to this so traffic could flow from/to on-premises.
