This excel-based financial model and dashboard template was developed for a client in the power utility industry. It is used to analyze and compare the economics of various nuclear power development projects. This user-friendly tool provided a standardized analysis approach that empowered management investment decisions.
I developed a real estate investment analyzer for creative finance deals and complex capital structures. The client had issues with the other tools they've used: they either weren't detailed enough to model the various creative financing structures he was using, or it had all the right functionality, but it was a cumbersome, 20+ tab excel model that couldn't be used consistently. The beauty in this tool is its simplicity in appearance and use, but its versatility allows for analysis of complex deals across multiple exit strategies.
This project is an excel-based financial model template that was developed for a research institute. After the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) was put into law, several incentives were provided to utilities to develop or expand green power facilities. This tool allows utilities to analyze the economics of investing in green power given the additional incentives of the IRA. The model utilizes navigation buttons to create a smooth user experience and output metrics include IRR, NPV, LCOE, and various sensitivity studies.
This is a level 1 schedule / Gantt chart that I developed in Microsoft Visio for a client in the power project development industry. The client requested that I put together a one-pager summary schedule that is driven by their detailed Primavera P6 schedule. The final product combines activities, milestones, and total float data with the responsible parties (i.e., swim lanes). This tool was used on a weekly basis to determine division of responsibility and track completion status. Note the red box cover ups are used to protect confidentiality.
