The analysis covers business performance, customer feedback, market research, and market data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
I analyzed a dataset of 110k+ Brazilian patients (Apr–Ju 2016) to explore factors influencing a 20% no-show rate for medical appointments. Key findings: patients booking same-day appointments were less likely to miss them, showing a strong negative correlation with no-shows. Surprisingly, SMS reminders had a weak positive correlation with no-shows, suggesting those notified were slightly more likely to miss appointments. Young patients had higher no-show rates, while patients with multiple illnesses (e.g., diabetes, hypertension) were more likely to attend. Visualizations shows the patterns.
