I’ve always believed that good software is not just built—it’s carefully shaped through understanding, exploration, and iteration. Every project I’ve worked on has taught me something new about how to balance simplicity with depth, and efficiency with creativity. At its core, my work revolves around helping businesses and people achieve more through thoughtful technology. I’ve learned that the most successful projects come from teams that communicate openly and stay adaptable. At Softaims, I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside professionals who challenge assumptions, share knowledge generously, and inspire continuous improvement. I take pride in focusing on the fundamentals—clarity in logic, consistency in design, and empathy in execution. Software is more than a set of features; it’s a reflection of how we think about problems and how we choose to solve them. By maintaining this perspective, I aim to build solutions that are not only effective today but also flexible enough to support the challenges of tomorrow. The culture at Softaims promotes learning as an ongoing process. Every new project feels like a step forward, both personally and professionally. I see each challenge as a chance to refine my skills and contribute to the shared vision of building technology that genuinely improves lives.

I designed and deployed Population API that provides population estimates for any user-defined polygon. There is currently no such api. -- Built the API using Flask (Python), integrated raster datasets with PostGIS, and deployed the service on a Dockerized Linux environment behind NGINX for secure and optimized performance. -- Delivered a free, production-ready token based API that returns population estimates in seconds, making geospatial analysis accessible to researchers, developers, and planners.
Modernized the server infrastructure by migrating to a Linux + Docker-based architecture. -- Implemented Docker containers for the API. Configured Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and applied secure Linux server administration. -- Reduced API–database communication time by 50%, improved scalability, and delivered a more reliable GIS application environment.
I've developed a minimal plot finder web application using the Angular framework and integrated the Leaflet library for mapping functionalities. This application is geared towards the real estate industry, offering a simple interface to locate plots. Behind the scenes, Geoserver serves as the backend, handling data operations. The test data is sourced from OpenStreetMap (OSM). Postgres functions as the database, and the application benefits from the PostGIS extension, manipulating the OSM dataset. This involves tasks like data cleanup, randomization, and the assignment of values for dropdown hierarchies. Notably, functions such as St_contains and st_distance are employed for spatial operations, ensuring polygons representing plots are accurately associated with the nearest line features like roads. It's important to note that this is a minimal application, emphasizing the significance of GIS tools across various sectors. While it currently serves its purpose, there's substantial room for improvement, reflecting the ongoing advancements in GIS technology and methodologies.
