My personal website created in less than a day using an HTML5 template. It's a small ASP.NET MVC WebApp hosted in Azure.
Storm Mapping v1.0 is a mapping solution created in ASP.NET MVC 5.0 using the Google Maps API. Utilizes a Googlemap control for Asp.Net MVC which wraps Google Maps APIs simplifying the use of Google Maps in ASP.NET MVC applications. Current version acts as both website and mobile application. Bootstrap enabled, the site content will resize and collapse based on screen size. Data is gathered from NOAA and NexRAD, filtered and stored in MS SQL DB hosted by Windows Azure. The solution is utilized by industries such as insurance companies who provide storm damage services. An implementation of this program can be found at www.stormmapping.com.
The landing page was created using ASP.NET MVC 5. Users are brought to the page via online facebook ads where they can 1) enter their home address 2) verify the address with google maps. When the information is submitted an email is generated for both the client and the inquirer.
The CleverTech.ZillowAPI is a class library written in C# that wraps the Zillow API so that I, or anyone, can easily tap into the ZIllow network and retrieve properties with very little coding involved. It will work with any kind of app, stand alone, web, or mobile that can reference a .NET class library. Currently the wrapper supports the GetZestimate, GetSearchResults, GetChart, GetComps, GetDeepComps, GetDeepSearchResults, GetUpdatedPropertyDetails, GetRegionChildren, GetRegionChart APIs. The mortgage rates and mortgage calculators are not yet implemented. What makes the library interesting is that it was written in C# using Lnq to XML, which allowed me to develop it rather rapidly. I also account for the error resolutions that are included on the Zillow website but nor part of their existing API. The screen shots are of three separate projects showing the .NET wrapper classes in action. One is a standard console app, an ASP.NET MVC app that I will be hosting on my website soon, and the other is a standalone test project written in C# and using Infragistics controls. In the example I import in an Excel file with 16,000 foreclosed properties into the app. Double click on a row and an API call is made to Zillow with the help of the wrapper classes. You can view a web example at www.clever-techsolutions.com/Zillow/
OZ (short for Occupational Zone) was written in VB.NET for a healthcare firm that manages several urgent care facilities located in the US. OZ provides proprietary support for tracking and managing patient accounts as they enter the system while also monitoring the provided services. On this project I worked closely with the contractor / IT manager who helped in the design and development process. Under his supervision, we created the first working version of OZ, which will be live in all facilities by the end of October 2015. FEATURES - For simplicity and readability OZ was written in VB.NET using Visual Studio 2013. Plans to create a C# version will be discussed for future versions. - Infragistics controls were implemented throughout the program to replace the stock .NET controls and provide a more modern UI look and experience. - MS-SQL 2012 was the database of choice. - All CRUD operations are handled by stored procedures. - DAL - The data access layer is powered by generics and reflection to provide a scalable solution with less code. - BAL - A business object layer was created to mimic the tables in the database. - Event driven / OOP programming - OZ relies heavily on standard object oriented protocols. - Source Control - We used Visual Studio Online and team explorer to commit our changes, communicate, and for version control. - Google Chat / Hangout was our primary method of communication. If you need a clever solution like OZ please contact me.
