I’ve learned that technology alone doesn’t solve problems—understanding people, processes, and context is what truly drives innovation. Every project begins with a question: what value are we creating, and how can we make it lasting? This mindset has helped me develop systems that are both adaptable and reliable, designed to evolve as business needs change. I take a thoughtful approach to problem-solving. Instead of rushing toward quick fixes, I prioritize clarity, sustainability, and collaboration. Every decision in development carries long-term implications, and I strive to make those decisions with care and intention. This philosophy allows me to contribute to projects that are not only functional, but also aligned with the values and goals of the people who use them. Softaims has also given me the opportunity to work with diverse teams and clients, exposing me to different perspectives and problem domains. I’ve come to appreciate the balance between technical excellence and human-centered design. What drives me most is seeing our solutions empower businesses and individuals to operate more efficiently, make better decisions, and achieve meaningful outcomes. Every challenge here is a chance to learn something new—about technology, teamwork, or the way people interact with digital systems. As I continue to grow with Softaims, my focus remains on delivering solutions that are innovative, responsible, and enduring.

Implemented Microsoft’s Playwright software at PwC, a global professional services firm. First, we laid the groundwork by coding the first tests, integrating with pipelines in Azure DevOps, and setting up cloud infrastructure. Dive - the auditors main software for auditing clients Additionally, coded Dive, PwC’s auditors’ digital tool, which streamlines the auditing process by retrieving and aggregating data from various sources. I took primary responsibility for the Angular & C# applications, Azure infrastructure, and design and architecture for new applications.
Collaborated with a Montpelier, Vermont-based client to expand their server infrastructure without the need for additional physical space. Proposed and successfully implemented a cloud migration strategy to meet their growing server demands. The solution enhanced scalability, improved operational efficiency, and reduced costs. Leveraged Azure and Google Cloud platforms to ensure seamless server transitions and optimized performance.
Recently assisted a client facing performance issues with their 20TB Synology NAS, which was mapped to user laptops for daily operations. Proposed and implemented a migration to Azure File Storage to align with their existing Microsoft ecosystem (Exchange Online, Teams). The challenge was ensuring the automatic mounting of drives on all user laptops, configured with appropriate permissions. This solution improved speed, reliability, and seamless integration with Azure’s infrastructure.
My responsibilities included designing systems and managing servers in a private cloud, creating backend services in the form of APIs with C#.Net and a database in SQL Server, and developing the mobile application natively for both iOS and Android, also utilising Google Cloud authentication service.
PwC wanted to implement Automated- and Load Testing in which Samir took lead by defining project scope and collecting requirements, to final delivery. Microsoft's Playwright was the framework for Automated tests and Artillery for Load testing which we coded in Javascript. Samir coded the first tests and integrated with pipelines in Azure DevOps, provisioned the cloud infrastructure (Virtual Machines) and set up pair- and mob programming sessions with the team. We are three agile teams where Samir takes primary responsibility for the ETL systems, frontends in Angular, backends in C#.Net and infrastructure using Docker & Kubernetes coded in Terraform. Samir also handled frontends and storages for our Power BI reports. Tech Stack: Azure, C#.Net, Kafka, Entity Framework, Angular, Docker, Terraform, SQL Server, Cosmos DB, Data Factory, Data bricks, Virtual Networks and subnets, Cyber Security, Python, PowerBI
