Inventory Counter Mobile App

Client Requirement:: I need simple application to run on Zebra TC70 Barcode scanner Handheld with two fields and a button. The fields will be labeled as LOCATOR, and SKU. There will be a box below this (very similar to the sample demo application that is native to the Zebra units) where scanned items will be show. In the application, we will enter the locator ID (Alpha numeric), then we will start to scan items into the PRODUCT/UPC field. Every time we scan an item, it will add it to the box below. If the item already exists in the box below, then it will increase the count by one. Once we are done scanning, we will press the button labeled as "POST COUNT". Once we press the post count button, a file should be saved internally as a CSV file, as the locator name. If the file already exists in the sd card, then it will need to make the name unique . Along with saving it to the local SD card, it should save the same file to a specified windows directory on our LAN . Once the button is pressed, the screen is cleared, awaiting the next locator entry. The user should not be able to enter a SKU without the locator filled in. Solution: I developed Native Android app using Android SDK,Java and symbol EMDK FOR Zebra TC70 Barcode scanner Handheld that allows app to use Zebra datawedge to read scanned barcode into app and specifying locator name. android recyclerview is used to show scanned SKU and associated count. Settings / preferences are provided to specify shared windows directory on LAN and authentication. App provided functionality to export inventory count data to .csv file on local SD card and to shared windows directory In the WLAN Summary: Application developed met all software requirement given and met clients acceptance criteria and testing perfectly
