Shivani D. Cloud, Backend and API Development

My name is Shivani D. and I have over 3 years of experience in the tech industry. I specialize in the following technologies: node.js, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, Software, etc.. I hold a degree in Bachelor of Computer Science (BCompSc). Some of the notable projects I’ve worked on include: Salesforce Integration with ReactJs using OAuth, SFTP to AWS S3 Transfer, Integrate GCP sheets API using Python, Build Your First Python Google Cloud Function. I am based in Noida, India. I've successfully completed 4 projects while developing at Softaims.

I specialize in architecting and developing scalable, distributed systems that handle high demands and complex information flows. My focus is on building fault-tolerant infrastructure using modern cloud practices and modular patterns. I excel at diagnosing and resolving intricate concurrency and scaling issues across large platforms.

Collaboration is central to my success; I enjoy working with fellow technical experts and product managers to define clear technical roadmaps. This structured approach allows the team at Softaims to consistently deliver high-availability solutions that can easily adapt to exponential growth.

I maintain a proactive approach to security and performance, treating them as integral components of the design process, not as afterthoughts. My ultimate goal is to build the foundational technology that powers client success and innovation.

Experience Highlights

Salesforce Integration with ReactJs using OAuth

This project involved the integration of a Salesforce sales API such as Account, Contact, Lead, SalesQuotes, etc. with a Node.js server, utilizing OAuth and session management for authentication and security. The server-side logic was developed using Node.js and Express routers, while the front-end UI was built using React. The resulting application provided seamless integration with Salesforce, allowing users to perform complex queries and retrieve data in real time, all through a modern and user-friendly web interface.

SFTP to AWS S3 Transfer

The project is about data replication from SFTP to an AWS S3 bucket using both stand-alone nodejs script and AWS Lambda. Here, the FTP server receives huge .dat data files from the external job scheduler every 25min. Each file can range from 500MB to 5GB. Using nodejs, the file is transferred from the SFTP server to the AWS s3 bucket.

Integrate GCP sheets API using Python

The project is about integrating Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Sheets API with a Python application. The GCP Sheets API allows developers to read and write data to Google Sheets, a cloud-based spreadsheet program, using Python code. This project involves setting up the necessary credentials and dependencies to use the GCP Sheets API and then using Python to interact with a Google Sheet. This can include reading data from the sheet into the pandas data frame, writing new data to the sheet, and manipulating the sheet in various ways. The end result of the project will be a Python application that can read from and write to a Google Sheet using the GCP Sheets API in a scalable manner.

Build Your First Python Google Cloud Function

In this project, we set up a Google Cloud Function triggered by a specific event, such as an HTTP request or a change in a Google Cloud Storage bucket. The cloud function will be written in Python and can perform tasks such as sending emails using SendGrid API, responding to changes in the cloud bucket and interacting with other services like Google Sheets. This project aims to give you a hands-on introduction to Google Cloud Functions and help you understand how to use this service to automate various tasks in the cloud.
