One of our biggest projects so far is the 500 MW utility-scale solar farm we worked on with a renewable energy developer in the US. This gargantuan solar farm spans over 2000 acres, and is enough to power 100,000 homes. This plant in Texas, USA houses over 900,000 bifacial solar modules mounted on single-axis trackers, 95 central inverters, and a 345kV substation! Complementing this solar powerhouse is a 250 MW / 1000 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), enabling grid reliability, peak-shaving, and energy shifting—ensuring clean power is available even when the sun isn’t shining.
The project here is a 400 MW utility-scale solar farm we worked on with a client in the US. This massive installation can power 80,000 homes. The plant is located in Texas, USA and boasts around 750,000 bifacial solar modules mounted on single-axis trackers, 89 central inverters, and a 345kV HV substation. Enhancing its capabilities is a 200 MW / 800 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), designed with an ancillary-heavy use case—while also capturing the growing opportunity in energy arbitrage.
