Input Financing

Farmers had one big issue when their crop gets ready they sell it to the mills but the mills don't pay them the right way they pay the farmer after 2 or 3 months this time is very indigenous for the farmers they want payment so that they can buy seed for the new season and do some personal expenses. We at ricult came up with the idea of a feature called input financing. we made the agreement with mills that we will pay farmers in advance on behalf of the mills and will charge a 2% fee for that purpose, and when mills will sell the products they will pay us instead after 2 or 3 months. I made this feature using angular on the front side and flask python on the backend side. The working of this feature is like farmers will create receipts of their crops which they sell to the mill we will record that receipt and confirm its information with the mill if is correct we change the status to processed if not then send a message to the farmer with status rejected receipt. The feature will count all the payments, funds, and receivables for us. It will also be used by the mill to share their purchasing price for crops so farmers can create receipts according to the rates the mill has created.

Harvest Summary

There was a client request for a feature that can show them a graphical view of their current harvest season summary and trends. they want to get an idea of how much farms have been harvested and how much is left so they can plan their business strategy accordingly. I have used ammcharts library to make the data visualization using charts and graphs. I have built the front-end filtering logic using angular and typescript and the backend API using python. The API will generate the data for each geo-location for the client where they have the farms we are getting the information about harvested and non-harvested farms through our satellite imagery algorithm which is a remarkable work of our RnD team. This feature gave the manager real-time information about the farms that are located too far from them.
