As a Lead Dynamics 365 Developer, I lead a team of 8 developers to deliver a working application that covers the sales and customer service process of the client. I also participated in the deployment, monitoring, and configuring of the Azure services required for the project. I also developed Azure app services, Azure logic apps, and power automate flows. In the second phase of the project, I took up writing the technical design document to make sure that the requirements are translated into a specification that the developers can deliver. Modules: Sales, Service Summary of work: • Create Technical Design Documents based on the review of Functional Specification Documents. • Provide work breakdown, estimates, and resource allocation based on the technical design and timeline of the project. • Lead a team of 8 developers in managing tasks, clarifying requirements, and technical implementation. • Train and on-board new and junior resources to fast track their involvement in the project. • Conduct Daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, and backlog refinements. • Develop solutions based on approved technical specifications utilizing Dynamics 365 and Power Platform. • Create plugins and custom actions using C#, web resources using JavaScript, workflows, power automate flows, model-driven apps. • Develop Azure Logic Apps, App Services and provision Key Vaults to integrate with external system for scheduling and credit card validation and authorization. • Plan and execute solution management and deployment in three different streams with each having their own development, test, and UAT environment. • Write a Build Book and Run Book to guide the client on how to administer, maintain, and provision different components of the system. • Serve as 3rd level support for complex issues. • Participate in Issue Triaging to determine root cause for critical issues

Dynamics 365 CE Field Service Implementation

A post-harvest and sorting machine manufacturing company tried to implement Dynamics 365 CE Field Service to allow their field service agents to install, maintain, and repair in a standard manner by utilizing Field Service mobile app with Work Orders, Incident Templates, Schedule Boards, and Inspection Checklists. Role: Senior Developer Responsibilities: 1. Recommend solutions to the client's business requirements 2. Develop recommended solutions in dynamics. 3. Support the implemented system after go-live Highlights: 1. Developed a PCF control to display a customized HTML report based on the information gathered from the inspection checklist and save it as a PDF in the record's timeline. 2. Create a process to accurately flow the information from Work Orders to customer assets by breaking down products with multiple quantities that were serialized and ensuring that the customer assets are created accordingly. 3. Set up the schedule board and do minor customizations to make sure usable information is displayed to the users and that the schedule board can function in different locations. 4. Developed an Azure Function that deserializes the inspection response so they can be saved as HTML inputs in the database. Use DCP to replace the PCF report mentioned in 1 by utilizing the deserialized information. Outcome: 1. System is being used by around 200 field service agents 2. System is being used in more than 3 continents and at least 6 countries.

Dynamics 365 CE Implementation Audit and Support

An educational technology company implemented Dynamics 365 CE to upgrade its legacy system in managing their classes and trainings for the public and private sectors. The system was badly designed and implemented and we were hired to audit the system and recommend ways to improve and support the system. Role: Technical Architect Responsibilities: 1. Audit the quality of the design and implementation of their original dynamics partner. 2. Recommend optimizations, design changes, and troubleshoot issues with the implementation. 3. Help onboard and lead the transition team from implementation to application support. Highlights: 1. Reduce API calls within the system from 10 million calls to less than 100K calls by identifying flows and workflows that trigger each other and adding additional checks to prevent loops. 2. Lead a team of 2 functional consultants and 1 developer in supporting a system that was badly designed and lacked any kind of documentation. 3. Reverse engineer the implementation to create technical documentation without the support of the original implementation partner. Outcome: 1. System has improved performance and reliability by having improved system processes. 2. Enabled a team of support engineers to effectively assist users and fix issues within the system.

Dynamics 365 CE Proof of Concept

A big furniture retail store wanted to do a proof-of-concept with Dynamics 365 for handling their returns process. One of the challenges in the project was how to handle customer data since they already have a database for it and did not want to replicate data anywhere in the company. Role: Senior D365 CE Developer Responsibilities: 1. Conduct workshops with the stakeholders to gather their business requirements, wants, and needs. 2. Develop the integration between Dynamics and the customer's database. 3. Write code and unit tests. Highlights: 1. Developed a PCF control that interfaces with the customer database that is capable of searching and displaying results based on certain criteria. 2. Develop a custom dynamics API that consumes the customer database web API to exchange data between dynamics and the customer database. 3. Provide technical expertise on creating the POC. Outcome: 1. The POC was successfully built. 2. The project was scrapped due to dynamics not being fit to the customer's development strategies for CI/CD.

HRIS - SMART.HR/DYNAMIC.PAY/SMART.TIME

Took over the project management of the HRIS implementation and the support services for the client's HR, Time Management, and Payroll systems.
