Schedule Interview NowMy name is Volodymyr B. and I have over 9 years years of experience in the tech industry. I specialize in the following technologies: Automotive, Healthcare, Smart Home Framework, Industry 4.0, Mobile App Development, etc.. I hold a degree in Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Master of Computer Applications (MCA). Some of the notable projects I’ve worked on include: Matter Smart Lighting Solution, Vital RPM System, EHR Cybersecure, Mobile app for measuring the CO level in the pilot's cockpit, ECG Monitoring, etc.. I am based in Kiev, Ukraine. I've successfully completed 16 projects while developing at Softaims.
My expertise lies in deeply understanding and optimizing solution performance. I have a proven ability to profile systems, analyze data access methods, and implement caching strategies that dramatically reduce latency and improve responsiveness under load. I turn slow systems into high-speed performers.
I focus on writing highly efficient, clean, and well-documented code that minimizes resource consumption without sacrificing functionality. This dedication to efficiency is how I contribute measurable value to Softaims’ clients by reducing infrastructure costs and improving user satisfaction.
I approach every project with a critical eye for potential bottlenecks, proactively designing systems that are efficient from the ground up. I am committed to delivering software that sets the standard for speed and reliability.

SmartBulb is a smart lighting system focused on sleep improvement by reducing blue/green light exposure. I led Matter protocol integration over Wi-Fi and Thread, enabling secure, low-latency local control. Built on ESP32, the firmware supported OTA updates and cloud sync. Users control bulbs via mobile apps with real-time brightness, mode, and schedule settings. Backed by a serverless AWS infrastructure (IoT Core, Lambda, MQTT), the system delivers fast, scalable performance with end-to-end encryption and multi-user access.
This project delivers a HIPAA-compliant Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) system for tracking chronic conditions like diabetes and hypertension. It features a BLE-enabled mobile app for real-time data collection from medical devices, cloud integration for secure data transfer, and analytics for performance optimization. It includes a BLE-enabled Android app (Kotlin) for real-time vitals capture, a secure cloud backend (Node.js, AWS, MongoDB) for data processing, and integrated analytics.
I contributed to building a HIPAA-compliant platform protecting electronic health records from ransomware and unauthorized access. The platform includes full EHR functionality: RPM, telemedicine, wearable integration, PACS, medication management, alerts, mobile access, patient payments, and AI-powered analytics. I was responsible for DevOps and backend security: CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, WAF), and secure API delivery with OAuth2 and JWT. Also supported HL7/FHIR integration and containerized deployments with Docker.
iOS mobile app for measuring the CO level in the pilot's cockpit, which alerts the user when the CO level is exceeded and sends sound notifications even if the phone is in silent or sleep mode. The main features: 1) Data collection in realtime from the device 2) Integration with measurement device (CO, Altitude, Pressure, Temperature) 3) Possibility to configure the device's setpoints (CO Alarm, Oxygen Reminder, Pressurization Alarm). 4) Application wrights received data to the database. Users can download stored data with the CSV-formatted file and manually clean the database.
ECG monitor based on BLE+mobile and IoT platform for collecting and processing information and medical parameters of ECG Medicine doctors are connected to the platform, receiving daily ECGs and communicating with the patients. All ECG and related data are archived in personal DB records for later access and analysis.
