Schedule Interview NowMy name is Zachary F. and I have over 9 years of experience in the tech industry. I specialize in the following technologies: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Architectural Rendering, Graphic Design, etc.. I hold a degree in Master of Architecture (MArch), Bachelor of Science (BS). Some of the notable projects I’ve worked on include: Penn Station Concourse Concepts, Techstyle Haus, Figures, TEFL Certification, CNU DoTank, etc.. I am based in Englewood, United States. I've successfully completed 46 projects while developing at Softaims.
I specialize in architecting and developing scalable, distributed systems that handle high demands and complex information flows. My focus is on building fault-tolerant infrastructure using modern cloud practices and modular patterns. I excel at diagnosing and resolving intricate concurrency and scaling issues across large platforms.
Collaboration is central to my success; I enjoy working with fellow technical experts and product managers to define clear technical roadmaps. This structured approach allows the team at Softaims to consistently deliver high-availability solutions that can easily adapt to exponential growth.
I maintain a proactive approach to security and performance, treating them as integral components of the design process, not as afterthoughts. My ultimate goal is to build the foundational technology that powers client success and innovation.

Core member of AECOM design team working jointly with design subconsultant to prepare a 30% design-build drawing set to renovate 90,000 sf of the existing LIRR Concourse at Penn Station. Documented existing conditions and interpreted point cloud data using BIM and Autodesk Recap. Developed renderings, drawings, and diagrams of station layout for Concept Design Report, using Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Created programming plan layouts for design and costing evaluation. Coordinated ceiling and wall design with lighting consultant and MEPS team. Generated industrial design drawings for electronic screen enclosures and custom furniture. Developed conceptual plan options for the space fit-out of the 1 Penn Plaza Back-of-House spaces. Created plan diagrams and sections of existing conditions to support a study for a potential new public entrance at street level.
Urban and architectural designer for a $500,000, 800 square-foot passive solar house installed at Solar Decathlon Europe 2014 and Domaine de Boisbuchet. Core team member in all project phases from concept to full build, presentation, and construction. Participated in team charrettes to integrate an energy positive systems design and a Passive House approach to core and shell and to orientation. Managed urban design and mobility strategy, team communication, and project documentation. Organized team coordination meetings and workshops, gave oral presentations to potential donors, and built the house 3 times (and disassembled 2 times) with the full 40-person design-build team. Done primarily using compressed charcoal, this series pushes a new method of building up my drawings with intense eraser marks and sober use of extreme darks. The overarching idea was to compose each piece in the same way I would remember it, as if I were dreaming it. Subjects normally posed for no longer than 45-60 minutes. I saw speed as a necessary part of the process, to push myself to create lighting effects quickly.
TEFL Certification, March 2018
I provided graphic design support to the Boston chapter of Congress for the New Urbanism, for their new DoTank urban intervention initiative. Graphics included digital branding and pamphlets for their events and workshops, tailored to their mission of improving streetscapes and street life in towns and cities.
