I was a member of the development team that created features and fixed bugs in Educup, an e-learning mobile app with more than 1 million active users. I implemented a chat in the app using the SendBird API through their official SDK for Unity and Flutter to integrate a straightforward communication channel between tutors and students. I was in charge of integrating payment processes using the PayPal and Stripe APIs. I Actively collaborated with the Design and Business teams in the app transition from Unity to Flutter, which considerably reduced the bundle size of the compiling apps and increased performance speed in iOS and Android getting closer to our goal of consistently delivering the best user experience.
As a Flutter developer, I contributed to Inglés Fácil, the official app of Francisco “Pacho” Ochoa. The app offers a gamified English learning experience for beginners and is built for cross-platform use on iOS and Android. Key features include interactive lessons, video courses, progress tracking, and a reward system, with a focus on performance optimization for low-end devices. Collaboration with design and content teams ensured a smooth user experience.
Lead developer for the React Native app Vivaria Budget, a budgeting that uses the Envelope System to track expenses and financial goals better. I'm an active contributor and lead other developers by organizing tasks to achieve client goals. I have worked and supervised all work related to advertisement integrations, subscription management, deployment to the specific App Stores, and migration from the React Native CLI Community to Expo, a more modern framework for mobile applications.
The EducUp landing page was developed using React and Vite, focusing on performance optimization and a responsive design. It was collaborative work with the marketing and design teams to align the website with the company’s branding and conversion goals. Designed reusable components, ensured cross-browser compatibility, and improved site load times, resulting in enhanced user engagement and increased web traffic
PyJapt is a Python library that simplifies the creation of parsers and lexers by defining an SLR, LR1, or LARL grammar. It is inspired by popular parser generators like yacc, bison, ply, and antlr. This tool is indispensable for designing and developing compilers, interpreters, and other software that analyzes programming languages and structured data. As an added feature, it contains a customized API for error handling. PyJapt can be found on PyPi under the MIT license and is a valuable resource for developers seeking to tackle advanced parsing tasks. What makes this tool unique is its ability to define the grammar of a language simply using its own Domain-Specific Language and the decorator pattern to apply the necessary instructions for using each grammar.
