I was the lead engineer on this project. MessageBuy is a text messaging software provider with an HQ in Cary, North Carolina. The company provides Shopify merchants with the SaaS solution for sending customized SMS and MMS notifications to buyers. The product owners were looking for well-versed backend engineers to scale the AWS infrastructure and improve the general performance of the platform. This is how our collaboration began. The cooperation started in 2020. After several months of joint work, a software system for personalizing the texts of the SMS/MMS messages was created. Together, we’ve also developed an extension that allows Shopify merchants to neatly optimize and fully automate the entire communication process. Now MessageBuy is one of the most technologically advanced and feature-packed solutions of its kind on the market.
I maintained the code, fixed bugs, as well as develop new features for the platform. I did a whole rehaul on the automated webinar system to offer more functionality in terms of more availability for dates and times, creating on-demand features, being able to upload directly to the platform, as well as patch replays. I also did a whole bunch of optimizations to increase site speed and resolve bugs on the user side. I recently worked on an on-site registration to allow users to register on their own website for their webinars through a registration form.
Chat platform allowing local celebrities to take advantage of their influence by selling media content (photos, videos, webinars, etc) through the app. I've used PHP (Symfony) for backend and React+Redux for frontend.
Web services for one of the biggest European train operators. It is a high-load API + web application that allows different platforms and users to get realtime traffic information. Technologies used are mainly React+Redux for the frontend and Node+Express on the backend.

First of all I fixed backend performance issues on the project, moved that from old legacy code to the modern codebase with php7. Optimized sql queries, integrated aws services for better performance. Also I did a lot of new features for admin side in both backend and frontend.
