The client needed a one-time anonymous registration system for students and faculty with custom validations, which wasn’t possible using Microsoft Forms. We developed a custom registration form using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery, integrating it with Microsoft SharePoint via REST API. The form allowed anonymous submissions with validation controls. Upon submission, an approval request was sent to the admin. Once approved, users received credentials and a portal link via email.
The project faced challenges with creating responsive forms and handling priority-based percentage inputs. Non-responsive forms caused display issues across devices, affecting usability. To resolve this, we implemented adaptive design patterns using grids and stacks for seamless responsiveness. For percentage entries, we defined clear rules and validation logic to ensure accurate, priority-based allocations. The result was a user-friendly, consistent, and functional form experience on all devices.
The client, a government sub-contractor in Kenya, managed office tasks and project workflows manually through Excel and emails—leading to inefficiencies and errors. We analyzed their operations and implemented a hybrid solution using PowerApps, SharePoint, and Power Automate. The new system streamlined routine office activities and major workflows like project tracking, appraisal, and signoff. This automation improved visibility, accuracy, and overall productivity across the organization.
