A web application where users can register and fill surveys. For each survey filled - the users get paid in gift cards. The application includes gamification, scalability and it is built from scratch. There are multiple integrations included. My role in this project was to establish the DevOps/source code foundation, develop it and support it after that. I have conducted interviews and lead my team towards launch. Design was made from scratch and provided by designers. Technologies used: PostgreSQL, Nest.js for backend, React+Vite for front end, AWS for cloud services.
I was provided a Figma design for a dashboard application and was asked to convert it to a working react solution. I used react + tailwind css.
The main theme in this project is based on a project that I have already built and is part of my portfolio. For this project I have changed all of the information, the only thing I kept was the background image and the color scheme. It was for the same client and they were happy with the initial work, hence why it was OK to reuse the "theme".
(censored private information) Optimized a React/TypeScript app by migrating from Firebase to Supabase. Transferred user authentication, database, file storage, and edge functions to Supabase for better performance. Implemented pagination to resolve dashboard loading timeouts caused by excessive data loading. Enhanced the app with complex filtering capabilities requested by the client. Fixed minor bugs and updated Survey Monkey webhooks to integrate with the new Supabase edge functions. The migration and optimizations significantly improved the app's efficiency and user experience.
Objective: To create a captivating and intuitive landing page that gauges the level of interest in a forthcoming SaaS tool designed for tracking commissions and gamifying sales processes. The aim was to validate the market demand for such a solution before full-scale development. Technologies Used: Frontend: React with Tailwind CSS Backend: Node.js Deployment: Single-Page Application (SPA) architecture Features: Lead Capture Form: Integrated a lead capture form that allows interested visitors to enter their email addresses for future updates. Dynamic Content: Utilized React to display dynamic testimonials, case studies, and potential features of the SaaS product. Responsive Design: Employed Tailwind CSS to ensure a responsive design that adapts to various screen sizes, providing an optimal user experience on both mobile and desktop. Performance Optimization: Optimized loading speed and overall performance through asynchronous operations and lazy loading, ensuring a smooth user experience. Analytics Tracking: Integrated analytics to monitor user behavior and interactions with the landing page, allowing us to gather insights into what attracts the most interest. Call-To-Action (CTA) Buttons: Included multiple strategically placed CTA buttons to direct potential customers to the lead capture form, thereby increasing the chances of conversion.
