Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager setup for Wordpress website

Client's goals for the project on WordPress: – install Google Tag Manager (GTM) – set up conversion tracking – create goals in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) – connect GA4 and Google Ads account – import goals from GA4 to Google Ads First of all, I explored the website and noted the main conversion points, and created a measurement plan with a list of macro and micro conversions. The list of conversions: – visitor submitted form (the main conversion) – visitor clicked on the phone number – visitor clicked on the support button – visitor clicked on the contact us button – visitor clicked on social networks profiles links After that, I implemented GTM code on the website. Checked what plugin for forms is used. It was Contact Form 7. I added to GTM a special listener for every form on the website. This listener allows me to track all forms. I created all the needed triggers for every conversion. For form submission, I used a Custom Event trigger. For others, I used Click - Just Links triggers. All events were transferred to GA4 via Google Analytics: GA4 Event tag. Goals in GA4 are based on events. And when we set up events tracking, it is easy to mark event as a goal. Connection of GA4 and Google Ads took me several minutes. After my setup client began Google Ads campaign using tracked conversions for ad campaigns optimisation. Let's have a call and discuss your current tasks I can help with. Thank you Denis

Full Conversion Tracking Setup for Shopify Using GTM as a Custom Pixel

The client required an advanced tracking system for their Shopify store, which utilizes various paid traffic sources such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, and TikTok ads. The objective was to enhance tracking capabilities to enable more accurate campaign optimization through richer data insights. In response, I implemented the following solutions: ➤ Stape Integration: I integrated Stape to empower server-side tracking, activating its power-ups and establishing a custom subdomain to leverage first-party cookies for robust tracking. ➤ Custom Loader: I deployed a custom loader designed to mitigate the impact of ad blockers and Intelligent Tracking Prevention (ITP), thereby ensuring that Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) scripts are executed more reliably. ➤ Server-Side Tracking: I set up server-side tracking for GA4, as well as for Google Ads conversions, TikTok, and Facebook conversion APIs to ensure data accuracy and security. ➤ Datalayer and Events Setup: I meticulously crafted a data layer structure and programmed all necessary events into the Shopify custom pixel using JavaScript, incorporating customer data to facilitate the implementation of enhanced conversions tracking within ad platforms. ➤ Deduplication Strategy: I utilized the Shopify event ID to prevent data duplication, ensuring that each conversion is tracked uniquely. The result of these implementations for the client was significantly improved. Conversion data became more precisely attributed to the paid channels, achieving a higher matching goal score. Tracking covered the entire e-commerce funnel and additional actions such as location searches for the client’s offline store network.

Conversion Tracking Setup for Webflow Website: GTM, GA4 and Google Ads

[ Project Overview ]
The project involved creating and configuring a Google Tag Manager (GTM) container specifically for enhancing the Google Search Ads campaigns of a recruitment business using Webflow as a website platform. The primary goal was to improve client acquisition through efficient and accurate conversion tracking. [ Client Requirements ] – Swift and effective deployment of a GTM container. – Detailed tracking of conversion metrics for client acquisition campaigns. – Ensuring data integrity and smooth integration with Google Ads.
 [ Implemented Solutions ]
Upon thorough examination of the website's user interaction points, I identified and marked multiple events for tracking, which included: – Lead form submissions. – Email sign-ups. – Interactions with email and phone contact links.
Additionally, I recommended the tracking of the following micro-conversions to gain deeper insights into user behavior: – Page scroll depths (10%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 90%). – Button clicks to evaluate the effectiveness of different calls-to-action (CTAs). – Navigation link clicks to determine the popularity of menu items.
To capture these events, I implemented JavaScript code within custom HTML tags. This set up a form submission listener, generating custom events through data layer pushes. This method is more accurate than tracking 'thank you' page visits, as it eliminates event duplication.
Furthermore, I extracted customer data using custom JavaScript variables to enable enhanced conversion tracking in Google Ads. This step was crucial for refining the client's Google Search Ads strategy and measuring the success of their client acquisition efforts.
[ Outcomes ] – Custom GTM container configuration tailored to the client's specific advertising needs. – Comprehensive conversion tracking structure in place to capture valuable user interactions. – Precise tracking enabled through JavaScript code implementation, allowing for detailed data analysis.

Google Looker Dashboard for Shopify Store

An e-commerce client using Shopify sought to gain comprehensive insights into their sales and marketing funnel. They aimed to track performance metrics from various platforms, including Shopify sales data, Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and TikTok Ads. The primary challenge was to consolidate disparate data sources into a singular and coherent analytics dashboard in Looker, ensuring data reliability and consistency. The client also required custom metrics that blended data from these platforms to evaluate cross-channel performance. After thoroughly understanding the client’s objectives, I proceeded to integrate Shopify, Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and TikTok Ads with Looker. With real-time visibility into multichannel marketing performance and eCommerce metrics, the client can now make decisions for campaign optimization and budget split, refine targeting strategies, and ultimately, enhance ROI. Furthermore, the custom-built dashboards empower stakeholders to dive deep into granular data, fostering a data-driven culture across the organization.

Track Single Page App with Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager

The client was facing a significant issue with their nanny booking service The core of the problem lay in the incorrect tracking of sign-ups and purchases, leading to substantial discrepancies and hindering the effectiveness of their Google Ads campaigns. The technology stack in use included a marketing website built on WordPress and an application developed using the Laravel framework. Both Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) were implemented for tracking purposes. Additionally, Google Ads was configured to import conversions from GA4.
