Experience Highlights

From NoSQL to Postgres

A quite big project was storing the data in Mongo. At some point when data schema got stable benefits of having NoSQL solutions get to zero. The project needed a reliable a consistent, concurrency access capable data layer. We choose Postgress. And I was able to move all the data there without changing a code on the top level. It was like a changing one layer of the cake without touching another.
