Experience Highlights

iOS Face Tracking & Recognizing framework

Transplanted an facial recognition library implemented by NCNN and opencv2 from Android to iOS with Apple’s Vision framework.

MiSphereCamera/MadVenture360(in-sale on App Store)

When I was working in the startup company MADV who produces two models of panorama cameras, I led the mobile software development team to build our smartphone apps for both iOS and Android enabling users to watch, edit and share 360-degree panorama videos/photos. I used OpenGL(ES) for stitching raw dual fisheye contents into 360-degree panoramas. Frameworks such as AVFoundation and CoreVideo were also used.

ShaderViewer / WallShaders(in-sale on App Store)

In these two apps, I fetch the GLSL shader codes from the website shadertoy.com with their public RESTful APIs, and use OpenGL ES to render the shaders. In addition, I use CoreVideo/AVFoundation methods to record the animation of the shaders into Apple’s Live Photo, which can be set by the user as their live wallpapers.

XRTool 3D Reconstruction iOS App with ARKit/RealityKit

Implemented and optimized a real-time 3D reconstructing algorithm based on Bundle Adjustment for iOS devices combining Apple's frameworks such as ARKit, Metal and CoreMotion. Finally delivered an efficient and effective 3D reconstruction prototype app by coworking remotely with an international development team. Also brought up and realized some innovative ideas for algorithm validation and visualization
