Rebuilt from scratch using Flutter, this version features improved stability, cleaner UI, and better real-time note detection. Users can match played notes or sing specific pitches, with instant feedback. The app is still in development but already showcases core game logic, accurate pitch tracking, and smooth Flutter-based animations.
Basic Pitch was the first version of a mobile app designed to train pitch recognition through gamified note exercises. The app challenges users to match notes played by the system or sing the correct pitch when prompted. I developed the entire app using React Native, building core audio logic for note detection and real-time feedback. This project laid the groundwork for what later became a more polished, production-ready version called Pitch, Please.
