Considering my love of basketball, there are many NBA statistical dashboards that exist providing key information about a player. However, I wanted to create a dashboard with heavy emphasis on creating finetuned information for a player given a certain circumstance. For example, given that a player with a long history in the NBA faces a team given a certain lineup, how likely is it that he will score a number of points given, the opponent's teams shot parameters, his own team's parameters in that scenario, etc.... It would need to be quite refined, so I wanted to create a dashboard meant for allowing user's to build their own workspace with specific queries they can use. It is still under construction but it uses a scraping system built from Selenium to gather data every day, AWS Kinesis to setup a pipeline from where the raw data is stored. AWS Aurora to store the data with an AWS Elasticache in front of it due to being very read heavy data and finally using a SolidJS based front end to provide the UI portion.
Aided in creating a website for a client interested in a Food Prep Comparison website, the goal being to create a centralised inventory of food products from a variety of food preparation vendors. Users of the site could then filter certain recipes to provide instructions on how to create and maintain them. Additional features included optional exclusions and additional filter options like ratings, pricing, etc... The website was designed in Adobe XD, implemented using ReactJS and Node Backend and hosted on AWS.
Aided in the Website Redesign for Powerplay Brands who are resellers of popular clothing labels like Reebok. The company had wanted to rebrand the website with greater quality material from their own internal catalogs to better impress visitors accessing their products. A uniqueness was added to the website in the form of HTML elements designed and implemented by my partner. I setup the required hosting parameters required by the company on AWS.
The company I worked for at the time were requested by Premier League to help design an intranet based application that would help to provide a centralised location for staff to showcase information about teams and players that played within the company's major product. Almost CRM in nature, we communicated with the client to accomodate features they would love to be able to use in order to make the site as functional as possible. The website was created in React using a themed framework. It is hosted using AWS.
