TVG Network

Optimized a Restful multi-tier application based on php/Zend hosted on redhat, asp.net and C# for scaling purposes. Brought the infrastructure from 220 users per core to 1,100 user per core. Scaled out the current infrastructure using vmware clusters, memcache/, redis and nginx application accelerator proxies based on Redhat to allow for up to 40,000 simultaneous user sessions across twenty apache application servers behind several F5 load balancers. Initial hardware was able to accommodate up to 4,000 users. Implemented patch management and configuration consolidation with a spacewalk infrastructure. Installed and managed a appdynamics system for troubleshooting, capacity planning and instrumentation for a multi-tier application including php, .net and nodejs components. Implemented and maintained the geoip system for location limitation for wagering. All projects were based on the agile method and used Jira extensively for ticket tracking and QA cycle.
