Client Goal: MTN Irancell, the second largest mobile operator in Iran, aimed to create a comprehensive mobile application to streamline account management for its customers. The objective was to provide users with an intuitive, user-friendly platform to manage their accounts, purchase data and voice packages, pay postpaid bills, top-up prepaid SIM cards, and access a diverse marketplace of digital products and services. The goal was to make MyIrancell a one-stop solution, reducing the need for multiple apps and enhancing the overall customer experience. My Contribution: As the main Front-End Developer on this project, I played a crucial role in the development and success of the MyIrancell app. My responsibilities included: Architecting and Implementing the Front-End: Utilizing React and React Native, I designed and developed the user interface, ensuring a seamless and responsive user experience across various devices. Feature Development: I was responsible for implementing key features such as account management, package purchasing, bill payment, and the integration of the marketplace for digital products and services. Collaboration: Worked closely with back-end developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to align on project goals and deliverables, ensuring a cohesive and efficient development process. Optimization and Maintenance: Ensured the app was optimized for performance and scalability to handle 5 million daily active users, and provided ongoing maintenance and updates based on user feedback and new feature requirements. Project Success: The MyIrancell app has been a significant success in the Iranian market, achieving over 5 million daily active users and consistently ranking among the top apps in the region. The app has greatly enhanced user satisfaction by providing a centralized platform for all Irancell-related services. Its user-friendly design and robust functionality have set a new standard for mobile account management apps in Iran, contributing to MTN Irancell's continued growth and customer retention.
