RuleOneInvesting is an education company that teaches stock investing and we’ve recently launched a new subscription-based web application that provides a stock analysis toolset for our students and subscribers. As a full-stack developer, I worked on the development of the subscription-based web application using Postgres database, .Net Core, Angular, and Typescript. I worked on both front-end and back-end tasks, collaborating with the user experience team, in-house developers, and other resources to build batch processes for data retrieval, design and develop .Net Core Rest APIs, implement Angular components, and integrate user data from legacy applications. I was responsible for partitioning stories into sub-tasks, recording progress in Jira, incorporating unit tests, and documenting code according to standards.
I have created this app from scratch. I have used Redux Toolkit, SignalR client side and server side. Initially used expo and later for some advance functionality ejected app to bare workflow. I have implemented background task to play news voice functionality while mobile screen is off.
