I hold a degree in Bachelor's degree, Bachelor's degree. Some of the notable projects I’ve worked on include: Maintaining a monolith, Test-Framework conversion from TestNG to Junit5. I am based in Bayreuth, Germany. I've successfully completed 2 projects while developing at Softaims.
My passion is building solutions that are not only technically sound but also deliver an exceptional user experience (UX). I constantly advocate for user-centered design principles, ensuring that the final product is intuitive, accessible, and solves real user problems effectively. I bridge the gap between technical possibilities and the overall product vision.
Working within the Softaims team, I contribute by bringing a perspective that integrates business goals with technical constraints, resulting in solutions that are both practical and innovative. I have a strong track record of rapidly prototyping and iterating based on feedback to drive optimal solution fit.
I’m committed to contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment, sharing knowledge, and helping colleagues grow their skills, all while pushing the boundaries of what's possible in solution development.

I worked for 3 months in a project were my task was to maintain a huge monolith. I don't know the number of lines it had, but it consisted of about 45 maven projects and building and running the tests took about 15 minutes. I converted the complete code from JDK 8 to 11, removed unused parts, fixed tests, increased the test coverage and also upgrade many of the base dependencies. I helped the team by setting up a SonarQube server to track the code quality and integrated a dependency check into CI/CD to check for supply chain risks. All found vulnerabilities were fixed in that phase.
I worked on some old project that was still using TestNG, newer tests were written in Junit5 though. Using both frameworks required some more dependencies, so both kinds are executed by Maven. That annoyed me for some time, so I rewrote the 17 old tests from TestNG to Junit5. I also adapted the Mockito usage and converted all the asserts to AssertJ, which makes the tests easier to understand. Overall it took me about one day to make everything work smoothly with Junit5 and to remove all TestNG dependencies and the extra ones needed to get both framework to work together.
