Microservices with Golang

I built a microservice with Golang, optimized for heavy usage. Leveraging the high efficiency of the Golang programming language, and industry-grade optimizations, this is a microservice that suits most modern needs. It's still a work in progress before it can be deployed fully, but feel free to leave a message if you want to see it in action, with an explanation of the codebase.

Galleria - A Golang Photo Management App

This project leverages the high speed of the Golang programming language as well as its highly reliable, concurrent servers. A small system to manage photos, the system helps users share their photos as a photo blog, and features a public platform for users and guests to view and interact with the shared photos on the website. Still under construction to include image editing features, and third-party integrations for a seamless photo-sharing experience.

Data Analysis - 5 Projects

I completed a certification course where I built five (5) real-world projects: 1. Mean-Variance-Standard Deviation Calculator 2. Demographic Data Analyzer 3. Medical Data Visualizer 4. Machine Learning - Python, Golang, Javascript

I built a machine learning system with Python and Golang that classifies tweets, detects their sentiments, and based on the target of the system, computes an evaluation score of the target. For example, if Mr. ABC is running for office, the system scouts Twitter for tweets concerning them, classifies the tweets to remove spam and other low-quality instances, and evaluates the sentiment for those tweets using Machine Learning classification models and Huggingface Transformers in Python. Then a score is developed using some internal metrics. The main server was developed using Golang, the models and evaluation were handled by Python, and the front end was developed with Vue.js. This was a highly engaging project and the product of a final-year dissertation.

GIT tool with Golang

I built an application that lets users create, view, and update issues from their local command line. This tool helps users handle GitHub issues without the need to use the web interface. I used the Go programming language to build the application based on its speed, portability, and excellent HTTP connection. The tool allows the users to submit parameters on the command line, and also gives an option to use their preferred text editor.
