As a 3D generalist, gameplay programmer with a focus on VFX (also known as 'Tech Artist'), this part was the most engaging for me and - in fact - half of the journey. Each of these effects took anywhere from a week to a month to fully flesh out into the sorcery or gameplay effect you see here. This is only a small subset of the full list.
This project involved learning to craft algorithms to digitally & procedurally generate entire environments via code. Attached are a few images of the output.
A short sprint to create & upload a mobile game, Virobot Defender was released in less than 2 weeks as a side-project in mobile games, google play, ad integration & implementing user feedback.
While I am skilled in Blender modeling, Blender Rigging & Animating are not my expertise. Here, I utilized resourcefulness, diligence and some careful tutorial resources to craft this humanoid from scratch and bring it to life - first in Blender, and then again in Unity.
