Schedule Interview NowMy name is Matthew H. and I have over 6 years years of experience in the tech industry. I specialize in the following technologies: Python, C++, TypeScript, JavaScript, Git, etc.. I hold a degree in Bachelor's degree. Some of the notable projects I’ve worked on include: RECONN.AI, audio-toolkit, Ultrasonic Anemometer, High-Altitude LiDAR Atmospheric Sensing, SmartFarm, etc.. I am based in Monroe, United States. I've successfully completed 8 projects while developing at Softaims.
I specialize in architecting and developing scalable, distributed systems that handle high demands and complex information flows. My focus is on building fault-tolerant infrastructure using modern cloud practices and modular patterns. I excel at diagnosing and resolving intricate concurrency and scaling issues across large platforms.
Collaboration is central to my success; I enjoy working with fellow technical experts and product managers to define clear technical roadmaps. This structured approach allows the team at Softaims to consistently deliver high-availability solutions that can easily adapt to exponential growth.
I maintain a proactive approach to security and performance, treating them as integral components of the design process, not as afterthoughts. My ultimate goal is to build the foundational technology that powers client success and innovation.

Platform to manage and analyze camera trap images by leveraging custom machine learning algorithms from user-trained images to help classify any animal species. I was one of three developers who made significant contributions to the platform’s full-stack development. I developed an image processing pipeline that utilized neural networks for animal detection and classification. We leveraged a relational database in PostgreSQL. I helped setup and maintain cloud servers utilizing high performance GPU’s for developing neural networks and serving the platform backend/database.
Web-based application utilizing AI to process audio files. Featuring tools like music source separation, transcription, noise reduction, etc.
I prototyped a signal modulating circuit in order to extrapolate the wind speed and temperature in-between a pair of 40 kHz ultrasonic transducers. I then later designed, developed, and tested a PCB shield for an ARM cortex M4 microcontroller to drive a low-cost 3D ultrasonic anemometer.
HALAS is an array of weather station systems housed in up-fitted shipping containers (ground-based), Gulf-stream IV jets (air-based) and RQ-4 Global Hawk drones (air-based) that provide atmospheric data at high altitudes (over 100,000 feet). I developed the system software featuring solutions that were real-time, multi-threaded and cloud distributed. We followed an AGILE software development methodology with frequent peer code reviews. I supported data collection campaigns - traveling to various site locations for system installation, checkout, collection, and operation.
An early-development sensor suite to measure N2O emissions from agricultural fields using laser-based sensors mounted on drones. These sensors include an optical absorption cell, a short-range miniature wind LIDAR, and a camera for plant health and ground assessment. I lead the projects software development and hardware integration.
