During my work in amadeus I've set up full CI/CD lifecycle. the idea of it is developers should do code, QA should do test, DevOps should do infrastructure. everything what can be automated must be automated, code style checks, unit/functional testing, code reviewers assignee, jira tasks status update after creating merge request or auto testing pass, blue green deployment without any downtime, automatic creation of development, test, prod environments and a lot more As I said as a result: developers write code, create merge requests, do code review QA write functional tests, do manual testing, rollbacks after production manual testing DevOps works with infrastructure. If you have a team, then you know, that usually developers and QA do deploys, nobody writes unit/functional testing, there is a downtime during deployment and so on. So in Amadeus I was able to create and integrate such system and development processes.
