This was the first implementation of the Amadeus option by Ramedian, I developed this for them. Again,it is the same product which was customized. The reservation system that was built on the .net framework mainly consists of 3 major components. They are, - Flight Reservation - Hotel Reservation - Car Reservation The system is based on a 3-tier architecture where the business layer is a collection of classes, which adheres to object oriented concepts along with the data layer classes. The system is technically broken down in to 3 main components to ease maintainability and reusability. - Client Layer – User Interfaces and the relevant code behind pages reside here. - GoQuo Service (XML Web service) – All the classes handling the system functionalities reside within this service. - GDS Gateway – This acts as the moderator for 3rd party flight reservation API’s, such as Amedeus, Gallelio, World Span and Abacus. This Gateway is used to make API calls or rather XML requests and to format the responses into system defined format for the end users. Other 3rd party web services are also used by the system. Ex- Currency Converter Services, Payment Gateway services such as SECPAY etc...
Client Product Profiling- CPP (version 1.0) - internal project CPP and PP forms the very base of a portal, which will enable the integration of many products in times to come. PP manages functionality, which are mainly related to authentication and authorization, whilst CPP focuses on managing clients, users, subscriptions and products. CPP facilitates the tracking of data and clip usage where appropriate, thereby enabling to bill clients based on their usage. The system was built based on the skygate architecture, whilst sitecore was the driving force behind its interfaces. CLOGS – DATA LOAD – EXPERIAN A/S -internal This is a data load project, which focuses on loading data, which is in different formats to a centralized oracle database. Data that flows in is converted using sql loader and stored procedures are written thereafter to manipulate the data and to load them into the relevant schemas. Writing procedures to handle data that is pumped in, in a wide variety of formats was the most challenging and intriguing part of this project. The front-end of the system was built based on the skygate architecture, whilst sitecore was the driving force behind its interfaces. I cannot share the url since it is an internal application. Employer Feedback - I wish I could have many Mifla’s, but there is only one. - Very Well done Mifla! You have done everything well under the estimated time limits. Client Feedback - Mifla should be a benchmark when hiring new people for our projects. - Awesome job, very fast!
