Built a market exchange simulator with support for 5 different exchange types, each with its own microstructure accurately modeled. The simulator provides both FIX and WebSocket APIs for market data and order handling, making it easy to integrate with existing systems. It’s used primarily for backtesting and for showcasing our trading platform in realistic conditions.
Built an algorithmic trading engine capable of executing orders across multiple exchanges simultaneously. The engine currently supports 15 different exchanges and includes 10 distinct trading algorithms. It takes in a user-defined order and intelligently slices it into smaller child orders based on custom rules or external signals, then routes them accordingly for execution. Designed for speed, flexibility, and adaptability to different market microstructures.
Built a FIX message router that supports multiple simultaneous FIX connections. To enable flexible behavior, we embedded LUA into the system to allow fully programmable routing logic. Messages can be modified both before and after routing decisions. This customization is also done through LUA. The combination of C++ performance and embedded LUA scripting made the system both powerful and adaptable.
