ASP.NET Developer is needed to improve upon an existing web store app. The current app is used to sell COVID-19 tests from our testing lab in California and was developed by an experienced contractor (more details below). Integrates with a payments provider (to purchase tests), has login / Identity features (so you can view test results), and has a questionnaire. Technical Information Written in ASP.NET with 30 small Views averaging <100 lines of markup and <100 lines of C# view behavior per view. Most JS & CSS which are not libraries are in one place. Variables are human-readable (ex. "CheckoutGUID") and the code is short and to the point, making use of libraries whenever feasible. To get this project working on a local machine you'll need an SQL database, to configure Web config to point the DefaultConnection at localhost / the database, and to build & run the ASP.NET 4.5 app. The original developer is available to help you get started. To make a change you'll probably first test on your local machine, then send it to the Dev environment where you should re-test & one of our staff will test it. Finally, you will be responsible for moving the change into the production environment. Needed Qualifications * Communication skills. * C# ASP.NET experience (building more than one app from the ground up and/or working with ASP.NET extensively). * Knowledge of how ASP.NET configuration files work. * Have set up SQL in one or more production environments & basic SQL skills. * Entity framework experience. In particular, you should have used Entity Framework in a project or job within the last year. * Some AWS systems experience. Requirements: Frontend: Customers will reach the site with a unique URL and will be shown a picture of their home when they bought, the date they bought, how much the home was listed for and the price they paid. There will be an option for them to request a home valuation with some options (virtual or in-person). When a customer connects to the site the database will track how often the listing is Backend: * Site will allow an administrator to create a unique URL for each home. * Site will have a dashboard - showing last connections on the client-facing website - showing customers who are requesting home valuations Phase 2 * Generate printable PDF marketing piece for each listing that will have information about the home and the unique URL * and likely more as I figure out what else is needed...
