The Tabs Intranet Request system is a processing and searching module for requests of any nature received via the intranet. Take Room Bookings for example, any people can view the availability of rooms, view layout along with pictures of those layouts all over the Intranet. They can then submit 'Requests' to book the room, catering, additional equipment requirements, and visitors. They cannot book the room, or alter existing bookings, control remains firmly in the lap of the facilities department. The request can then be processed in the Intranet Request system. Users are automatically informed of new requests arriving whether for Reactive Maintenance, Room Bookings, Catering Taxis, Couriers etc. To process a request, click Accept or Reject. In either case an email is sent to the requester confirming or denying the request with an explanation or full report of booking details.
